Course Reflection & Feedback

I loved this class! It really gave me a very diverse background in all of the google applications. My favorite to learn had to be calendar and task application. These are going to be very useful, especially when I start organizing my own business. I would say that the one application that surprised me was google keep. I had no idea they offered something like that, and it is super useful especially when you want to transfer information between different devices. I also personally loved learning all of the different formulas and charts that you can curate with google sheets. There was so many different things that you can create with google sheets. It's a very complex application.       Going forward I am going to use my knowledge with these applications to start up my own business and maintain professional etiquette with my clients. I am going to be mostly using the calendar, Gmail, and task apps. However, I do plan to use sheets and docs to manage my internal organization wit

There will always be a wave to ride

Everyone is going through their own struggles, even though most of us may not look like it, we are. Whether it is stress or conflict on our personal lives, work lives, school lives, we all have challenges that we go through on the daily. Mentally, we need to find time to de-stress and forget about all of our worries. These can be very daunting on a person when they are constantly running through their mind, therefore, having a good support system is key. Being able to have people that you can rely on is very important. Also, being very busy and not having time to even think abt it the slightest bit. Personally, what I like to do is go on nature walks. Nothing around my neighborhood, because that has too many distractions. However, a large park, a place with a lake, or somewhere on the outskirts that resembles more of something that you would find in nature. I love smelling the plants, feeling the wind, and seeing all the little animals that are scurrying around. It really relaxes the

Forms and Slides

I loved learning about all of the different custom designs and questionnaires that you can create using google forms. I didn't realize how unique and creative that you can get with a form. My favorite part was learning about all the different colors, images, and themes that you can attach to a questionnaire. I also realized just how complex you can get with some of the types of questions. It can really make quizzes and tests unique!      Slides was another google application that we explored. However, it wasn't my first time using the program, I did learn a lot more about the specific aspects that it does offer. I would say that my favorite part of slides is the presenter notes. It really cool that you can leave yourself extra notes or key phrases that you want to talk about during a presentation and the audience won't be able to see it. It's a wonderful guide that you can use as a presenter to be more prepared and ready for the presentation.

Google Meet and Sheets

I had no idea exactly how many formulas and specials graphs that we could create using sheets. There were so many new skills and techniques that I learned watching the google workspace videos. I personally only knew about the multiplication and sum functions in sheets before. I didn't realize there was a whole list of functions that we could use to help in calculations or figuring out different reports that we need to help the business. There was also different filters and viewing windows that you can create in order to single out various items or aspects in the spreadsheet. I really liked the visual graphics that the software could populate based on the numbers in the spreadsheet. It read the information, and then could formulate a pie chart or graph. There were lots of graphics to choose from! It was wonderful to learn about all of the different options that google sheets has to offer.      Google meet is also super useful. I had no idea that google meet even existed before.

Google Calendar and Tasks

I absolutely love google calendar! It has a lot of features, like alerts, task reminders, and lets you setup recurring events. It is a great way to manage your personal life or business lifestyle. It is also wonderful that it works together with apple calendar too so it syncs with my phone. It is very handy to have access to on my phone. Everything can be seen in a click of a button. Plus, you can custom color organize it, which is wonderful to be able to do. I can assign color to certain tasks and have them all categorized based on whether it is an appointment with a client, business meetings with vendors, or my own personal tasks that I need to do for the business to progress.  I also really love contacts. I am able to organize clients and vendors easily. Plus, it gives me a place to see all of their information and I can look them up by name. It makes it a lot more convenient for me as a business owner and can see everything in one place.  I definitely am going to integrate all of

First Impressions of Blogging and Blogger

I love the idea of creating blog posts to interact with clients and create a more personal page for people to interact with you and your company. It is a good tool to express your passions and the type of style that you want your company to express with the cliental. Sometimes this can be the first impression that a client sees of your company and you want it to properly reflect your companies values.  My favorite blog page that you gave us as an example is Cup of Jo. I love that the application photo is changed and the web design looks very easy to use and has a profitable aesthetic throughout. It is very simple, visually appealing, and uses more photos to be interactive with website users. The other one that I like is Yellow Van Travels because of how it is organized and structured simply in numerical order with the post. It gives little blurbs for each blog post to hook you in and make you want to read the posts. It looks very clean and user-friendly.  I have never done blogging bef
